Sheep, fish and live owls and a falcon courtesy of TWO Bird Experience, all contributed to these unusual and exciting courses.

Led by ceramicist Anne-Marie Fieber and hosted by ArtCare, Anne-Marie taught the participants a variety of techniques including slab building, press moulding, pinching, and coiling.

Interesting surface textures were added by experimenting with rolling the clay on a variety of everyday materials. Final pieces were coloured with oxides and under glazes and fired in a kiln producing a delightful collection of individual clay creatures and an unforgettable experience for all involved.
