This course focused on how music brings us together, allowing rhythm to create a sense of community and unity amongst us led by professional musician Daniel Lickard and ArtCare.

Participants covered the fundamentals of rhythm, how it ties music together, and how our individual part in music helps to create the bigger picture.

Over the 8-week period, participants learnt how to count in musical time, played various rhythms, read basic notation, studied music and gained experience playing as part of an ensemble and coming together as a team.
